Event: Cresent City Connections Luncheon

  • Flemings Steakhouse 3604 North Causeway Boulevard Metairie, Louisiana, 70002 United States (map)

Most women don’t leave corporate to work more. They leave for freedom, flexibility, and a business built on their own terms. So why do so many of them end up running a job harder than the one they left, holding everything together and wondering why every productivity fix they’ve tried still hasn’t bought back their time?

In this practical and engaging session, Stephanie N. Mbelu teaches audiences how to identify the gap between their vision and their operations. She reframes systems as more than tools, workflows, or automation. Systems are the structures that allow a business to operate in alignment with the owner’s values, work style, leadership role, and long-term goals.

The issue isn’t whether you have systems; it’s whether your systems were built around someone else’s playbook rather than how you actually want to work and live. This session walks business owners through the difference between work systems and wealth systems, shows them exactly where their business is misaligned with their values, and sends them home with a concrete starting point rather than a generic overhaul. It’s part keynote, part working session, grounded in 23 years of building systems that hold up under pressure in the US Army and 7 years of helping women owners do the same.
